NACAC Town Hall: Navigating the Impact of Racism on College Admission Professionals
Monday, June 29, 2020, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM EDT
Category: Events

The recent killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd have intensified debates about police brutality and subsequent complacency regarding the murders of unarmed Black people. Calls for action have reached a fever pitch and across the country and the world, people are demanding change and protesting society’s extensive history of racism. What does this mean for the college admission profession? For our students? This town hall addresses these questions and discusses the implications of the current climate on how students of color navigate the college admission process.

Because of space limitations the live event is for members. Recordings of this Town Hall meeting will be made available online for everyone after the event.
