Hosting a Future International ACAC Conference

Hosting the International Association for College Admission Counseling (International ACAC) annual conference on your campus is a fantastic way to showcase your university or college to a global audience. The International ACAC Conference typically takes place in July over five days. In more recent years, university and college hosts have accommodated guests for pre-conference and post-conference activities. Western University, located in London, Ontario, Canada, was the host of the 2019 Conference. 2019 was a record-setting year with over 1,500 attendees from nearly 100 countries. The 2020 Conference was held as a virtual event for members, due to the impact of COVID-19.  The 2021 Annual Conference will be held as a virtual event during the week of July 12.  The University of New Mexico will host the 2022 Conference and Florida International University will host the 2023 Conference.

International ACAC annually invites interested universities and colleges to submit a comprehensive proposal to host a future annual conference (two years prior to the actual event).  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, proposals for hosting future events has been paused, with a reassessment in 2021 on planning for in-person events.

The Request for Proposal to host the 2021 Conference is provided here for reference purposes for member institutions considering hosting in the future.
