Gathering Grants were created to facilitate the getting-together of members from around the world. With twelve (12) grants being offered per calendar year, at up to $250 USD per grant, members are encouraged to host casual social and networking events with colleagues in their area.
Some ideas for Gatherings could include (but are not limited to):
- Coffee - invite local members to a coffee shop and pay for their drinks.
- Picnic - supply the food and drink and invite all local members to join you in a park.
- Party - use the grant to purchase party supplies and food, and invite local members and prospective members to join you in a free venue to celebrate community.

Grant Process
Gathering Grants are available to active International ACAC members. They are given out twice per year, in rounds of six grants each period. Please apply for a grant in advance of the period of your gathering. For instance, if your gathering will be in the first half of 2025 (January - June, 2025), we would ask for your application in the second half of 2024 (July - December, 2024).
- Gathering Grants are given out on a first-come, first-served basis after a review from members of the Global Affairs Committee.
- Selection is based on the plan for the gathering and the region where it will take place. Emphasis will be placed on spreading grants over multiple regions.
All Gathering Grants for the first half of 2025 have been awarded.
Apply below if your event will take place in the second half (July - December) of 2025.
